Photo Competition Terms & Conditions

This competition is open to mariners only. We can only accept entries via Instagram. All entries must be received by 31st May 2019. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them. The winning entries will be that that is judged to be most visually appealing, original and self-explanatory. The decision of the judges is final. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions. Winners will be notified within fourteen days of the closing date of the competition. The winners will receive an item of Clyde Marine Recruitment branded merchandise. No cash alternative.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that any images they submit which include an identifiable person(s) have been taken with the permission of the person(s) and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.

Entrants have copyright over all images submitted. However, by entering the competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Clyde Marine Recruitment to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, websites, social media platforms and promotional material.

The winners name may be disclosed as part of the competition promotion across Clyde Marine Recruitment social media.

Should any event occur that renders the competition or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the Competition and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
