Find out more about our chosen charities here.

Each year we make a charitable donation instead of sending Christmas cards, this year we made the donation direct to the RNLI based in Campbeltown. Their lifeboat station was established in 1861 and serves to cover the Mull of Kintyre and the North Channel. We take our hats off to their crew who have been awarded 11 medals for gallantry over the years.

Clyde Marine Recruitment continue to support the Scottish Shipping Benevolent Association through attendance at the annual fund-raising dinner in November.

Clyde Marine Recruitment Director, Angela Brady, assumed chairmanship of the Scottish Nautical Welfare Association earlier this year. The Scottish Nautical Welfare Society is a charity incorporated in April 2002, because of the merger and rationalisation of three long established nautical charities, namely Glasgow Aged Seamen’s Relief Fund, Glasgow Seamens’ Friend Society and Glasgow Veteran Seafarers Association.  Scottish Nautical Welfare Association is dedicated to promoting the welfare of former seafarers, and their widows, in retirement and difficult times.  The charity is seeking to reach out to help more people in need.  If you know of anyone who would benefit from this assistance, please put them in touch with the SNWS.
