New Covid Rules and Restrictions

The rules around vaccinations, PCRs, and quarantine are constantly changing and we aim to keep this post updated as regularly as possible.
England – PCR test on arrival seafarers are still exempt. Day 2 test still required
Scotland – PCR test on arrival required
Poland – from 15/12 new measures for entering the country. Now everybody, including Seafarers, must have a diagnostic Covid test done within 24 hours of their landing time in Poland. The 48h prior to departure to Poland RT PCR required. Not vaccinated crew require 7 days quarantine on arrival – https://www.gov.pl/web/coronavirus
Latvia & Lithuania – state of emergency in Latvia has been declared for a time period from October 11th until January 11th – Seafarers are still exceptions for both countries from PCR test and PCR test, however other passengers need a vaccination certificate. The digital Covid-19 certificate must be issued in the EU Member States, EEA countries, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. If you can’t provide a valid digital Covid-19 certificate proving that you are vaccinated against Covid-19 or recovered from it: you need to take a PCR test 72 hours before entering Latvia or an antigen test taken no earlier than 48 hours before entering Latvia https://www.latvia.travel/en/article/covid-19-and-travelling-latvia.
Ukraine
All citizens of Ukraine over 18 who:
have full of partial vaccination can enter the country without installing the Vdoma app or self-isolating.
are not vaccinated must install the Vdoma mobile app and self-isolate for 7 days starting 72 hours after entering the country. If you have a negative PCR or rapid antigen test within 72 hours of entering the country you do not have to self-isolate.
Romania
A negative PCR test is required prior to arrival. Seafarers are currently not exempt at this time.
Travelling to the UK
You must take the test in the 2 days before your service to England departs.
If your journey to England is a multi-leg journey, you can take the test in the 2 days before the start of the first leg.
Type of test:
- a nucleic acid test, including a PCR test
- a LAMP test
- an antigen test, such as an LFD (lateral flow device) test
Portugal
All passengers must present a negative covid test result on arrival. It can be PCR test (taken 72h before departure to Portugal) or a rapid antigen test (taken 48 hours before departure).
Flights between Netherland to the Philippines cancelled.
