Clyde Marine Recruitment has been supplying Deck and Engine Officers and Ratings to many different sectors within the Merchant Navy over the years, from Ferries, Superyachts and Dredgers to Offshore Oil & Gas and Tankers.  Dredgers is one of our growing areas of expertise and Clyde Marine Recruitment now makes Engineering and Deck Officer placements with many of the leading Dredging companies including CEMEX, Hanson Aggregates and UK Dredging.  In 2018 we saw an increase in dredging placements in both Deck and Engine Officer ranks.

Similarly, our recruitment teams noted a busy summer period for offshore with many ships coming out of layup requiring short notice crews.

We are hopeful for further improved activity in the offshore market during 2019.

Recruitment for New Build Sea Trials

Clyde Marine Recruitment has provided crew for BAE trials for the new build offshore patrol vessels.     HMS Medway is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2019 and HMS Forth is due for delivery to Portsmouth in March 2019.
