Jen Fisher

What’s your job title here and what do you look after?

Part Time Marketing Co-Ordinator – I’m part of a team of two who are working on several exciting developments within Clyde Marine Recruitment. We also look after all the social media, write blogs, manage the website and all online aspects of the business amongst many other things!

What’s your work experience/background?

I’ve worked in Marketing for most of my career in several industries including licensed trade, fashion and now marine recruitment. I have also spent many years developing and managing events in the entertainment industry. It’s been an interesting career path to say the least!

Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you?

I’m a calligrapher and designer the other half of my working week.
If you’re looking for a random fact I once helped Fran Healy from Travis to stick a false moustache on at an event I was managing.


Garry Wotherspoon

What’s your job title here and what do you look after?

I’m a payroll/finance administrator for Clyde Marine Recruitment, engaged in the day to day preparation, building and billing of the payrolls. In addition, I look after the bank reconciliations, monthly recharge billing and external supplier invoicing.

What’s your work experience/background?

Directly before CMR, I was an accounts assistant with a facilities management provider and previous to that an undergraduate at Glasgow University studying Joint Honours English Literature/Scottish Literature.

Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you?

People may not know that I play drums in a rock band!


Carmen Wan

What’s your job title here and what do you look after?

As a recent addition to the payroll/finance team at CMR, my role involves daily preparation, building and billing of the payrolls for several clients. As well as this I have been helping with the monthly recharge billing and external supplier invoicing. The long term aim for the finance department would be for each of us to be responsible for certain clients and tasks.

What’s your work experience/background?

Before I joined CMR, I was a ship accountant for another ship management company but was made redundant due to the loss of a major client and restructuring of the company. I have over 4 years accounts experience within the hygiene, property management and shipping sector. I studied my BA (Honours) degree Accountancy with Finance at the University of Abertay Dundee and would like to complete my ACCA qualification soon.

Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you?

I like to explore Scotland and go hill walking on a free weekend, still to bag my first munro!! (weather permitting haha!)
