Second Engineer – Luxury Passenger Vessel

We are currently recruiting an experienced Second Engineer to join a luxury passenger vessel.

Joining Date: 16th March
Contract Duration: 3 weeks
Day Rate: Above £250 per day
Rotation: Potential 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation available following the initial contract.

• Valid Passport

• UK Residence or valid UK Right to Work Permit

• Seafarer’s Discharge Book

• UK Seaman’s Book

• ENG1 Seafarer Medical

Certification

• STCW Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Second Engineer

• UK Flag State Endorsement (Certificate of Equivalent Competency)

STCW Training

• STCW Personal Survival Techniques (A-VI/1-1)

• STCW Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (A-VI/1-2)

• STCW Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)

• STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (A-VI/1-4)

• STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)

• STCW Crisis Management & Human Behaviour (A-V/2)

• STCW Crowd Management & Passenger Safety (A-V/2)

• STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (A-VI/2-1) – other than Fast Rescue Boats

Additional Requirements

• MCA Approved Safety Officers Training

• Confined Space Entry
