Summary

 Marine Engineering / Electrical Consultant – 12 months fixed term contract

We’re looking for experienced Marine Engineering professional to support our clients’ Dynamic Positioning (DP) system assurance activities across a diverse range of vessels. If you’ve got a strong marine engineering or ETO background and enjoy a mix of technical work and client interaction, this could be a strong fit.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Delivering DP FMEA, trials, and verification & validation (V&V)
2. Supporting client projects, including offshore vessel attendance
3. Producing high-quality technical reports across varied assignments
4. Working with advanced systems, including closed-bus and hybrid setups

What we’re looking for:

1. Chief/2nd Engineer, Electrician or ETO background (offshore vessels)
2. Dynamic Positioning experience required
3. Strong technical knowledge with a client-focused mindset
4. Understanding of Class rules and industry standards (IMCA / OCIMF / MTS)
5. Clear communicator with problem-solving capability
6. Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
7. Offshore medical (ENG1 or OEUK) and right to work in the UK
8. Current offshore safety certification is desirable; (i.e. BOSIET / FOET / GWO).

 Location: Flexible (Preference for proximity to Aberdeen)

 Hybrid/remote with regular UK & international travel
