Junior DPO – JackUp Vessel (UK Waters) – 12/08 to 09/09

We are seeking a Junior Dynamic Positioning Officer to join a JackUp vessel operating in UK waters. The ideal candidate will support the senior DP team in maintaining safe and efficient DP operations, ensuring compliance with vessel procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with DP operations under supervision of the Senior DPO / SDPO

• Monitor vessel position, environmental conditions, and DP system performance

• Support preloading, jacking and moveoff operations

• Maintain accurate DP logs, checklists, and operational records

• Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and operational briefings

• Ensure adherence to company safety standards and operational procedures

• Assist with bridge watchkeeping duties as required

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK

• GWO Basic Safety Training / STWC’s

• ENG1 Medical
  

• Strong understanding of bridge operations and marine safety procedures

• Good communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

• DP Induction Certificate

• Previous experience on JackUp or offshore vessels

• Familiarity with jacking systems and DP Class 2 operations
