Summary

Clyde Marine Recruitment in partnership with Western Ferries is looking for Engineers to join its technical team, helping maintain and operate its busy fleet of ferries on the Hunter’s Quay – McInroy’s Point route.

This is an excellent opportunity for marine engineers looking to build their careers ashore while remaining hands-on in the maritime industry.

What Is On Offer?

Basic salary: £41,000 per annum, with expected earnings of approximately £53,000 including built-in overtime
Employer pension contributions: 8%
Annual leave: 6 weeks
Paid sick leave: 12 weeks
Shift pattern: Two weeks on, one week off
Work-life balance: Home every night, with no overnight accommodation required onboard

Candidates at STCW EOOW level who have completed their cadetship and are looking for an alternative to deep-sea work. Applicants should hold valid STCW qualifications and minimum EOOW.

Location: Candidates should ideally be based on the Cowal Peninsula, as no onboard accommodation is provided and crew members disembark at the end of each working day.
