Summary

2 x Second Engineers permanent positions onboard Buoy Tenders servicing and maintaining Scotlands Lighthouses, Buoys and Beacons. 

Home port for the vessels is Oban. 

The successful candidate must have the following:

– Chief Engineer Unlimited (III/2) COC, or a Second Engineer Unlimited COC with a Chief Engineer endorsement (III/3) will be considered.
– Safety Officer’s Course
– STCW Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
– Elementary First Aid
– Experience with Diesel/Electric powered vessels.
– Valid Basic Safety STCW’s & ENG1 Medical.
– Previous work on Dynamic Positioning vessels would be advantageous. 
– UK Work Permit is essential.
