Two Cooks required to join Dredger 8th April until 29th April.
Must hold Ship’s Cook COC, all valid STCW’s and valid ENG1
Day rate is over £200.00

Duties include:
In charge of the galley, provision and storerooms including effective housekeeping of these areas.
•
Ensure that the galley department is managed in a healthy and economic manner.
•
Ensuring that the handling, preparation and serving of food is performed in a hygienic manner.
•
To provide a healthy, balanced and varied high quality diet for all aboard, taking into account individual dietary needs where possible.
•
Ensure that the condition of all provisions onboard is satisfactory, including expiry dates and take action to correct as necessary.
•
Manage purchase lists and control received provisions.
•
Manage the necessary stock lists and report to the Master.
•
Responsible for housekeeping in the accommodation, including maintenance and cleanliness of all alleyways, staircases, messes and public spaces.
•
Member of vessel’s emergency response team, according to the Ships Emergency Plan.
•
Assist in Seaman’s duties elsewhere onboard in unusual circumstances and when required.
•
To operate the TRA and PTW systems as described in those procedures.
Must be UK based and hold the right to work in the UK
