We wrote a blog a year ago about this very topic, but how things have changed just 1 year on! You can now get an app for just about anything – entertainment, kids, health, business, or games like the famous Candy Crush Saga. The possibilities are endless and can help you plan a stress-free day on leave, here’s how…
8am – up for a run. Fitbit at the ready, you’ll check your data later. Spotify in your ears. Sun is up, happy days.
10am – Run complete, data downloaded you’re back at the house chilling on the sofa. You’ve caught up with all the gossip on Facebook. You’ll catch up on BBC News app over lunch that you’ve ordered on Just Eat – well deserved after that run today!
1.30pm – After lunch, you set up a first date on Match.com with someone you’ve been chatting to for a while (don’t worry if it doesn’t go to plan, your mates have just posted a thread on Whatsapp about meeting up at the weekend, back up sorted!)
2.00pm – You check your wardrobe, you’ve got nothing to wear for this first date! Don’t fret, you place an order on ASOS with next day delivery!
2.30pm – You dip into work emails on Microsoft Outlook to see if you’ve been sent joining details for your next trip at sea. Looks like plans are confirmed for next week. You book a taxi to the station using Uber – best get organised early!
3.00pm – The rest of the afternoon is spent pretending to get all those jobs done around the house/ taking ‘progress shots’ for Instagram. You’ll reward yourself for all that hard work later with a chilled-out evening – you’ve got the next series of your favourite show on Nexflix to catch up on.
All in all, it was a good day. Now to look forward to your first date. Don’t worry if it goes disastrously wrong, you can always tap into Rightmove to search for a new house far, far away!
